Event staff had to pull fans off the stage. Luckily, Viv and I got to move up really close and get sweated on.
A pit full of sweat and thumpin’ Journey mashed with a sprinkle of Lil’ Wayne. Last night’s Girl Talk concert was action packed. Nearly half the audience piled up on stage, half naked and ready to dance.
The situation was so packed that cables were being knocked loose and sound was lost. Gillis asked some people to hold down the table as to not knock his setup off the stage. Like at the end of a junior high dance when all of sudden the lights came on, event staff had to quickly eject the sweat-monsters off the stage. When Kelly Clarkson’s song came on the Roseland nearly lit on fire. Way to go American Idol.
