Halloween is always a fun time of the year. This year we had some great costumes. Clicking on any of the photos will take you to my flickr stream. I was able to use the Canon 5d Mark II for both stills and video. I am very pleased with the result. No additional lighting was used. I had the Canon 28mm f/1.8 set around ISO 4000. The low light performance is great. I did take the photos into the Lightroom 3 beta for some post processing, but overall I’m very pleased. Hope you all had a fun Halloween.

Buffing the wood, originally uploaded by Mr. Lloyd. Halloween was a great one this year in Portland. There definitely was a lot of memorable costumes. Marsha’s awesome 80′s workout outfit definitely was a winner. Viv and I went as lumberjack/tree combo. Check out Mickey’s boner bones and Katey as little red riding hood. She even had a delicious basket of cookies. Rob and Kate win super adorable awards for their cars costumes. Check out the photos on my flickr page and also check out how I made my giant tree costume. I’ll show you my giant wood (costume) and beaver (puppet) just click.
